An Apprenticeship in Recruitment Resourcing Intermediate (Level 2) is an ideal programme that will
help your organisation to provide either existing recruitment consultancy staff, or learners entering into
employment within the recruitment industry, with the required necessary skills and knowledge to
flourish and progress.

This programme would be well suited to those working in the Recruitment industry as a Recruitment
Resourcer, In – House Resourcer, Recruitment Assistant, Perm or Temps Assistant or a Junior Recruitment
Consultant. Learners will need to be able to demonstrate that they can carry out a range of work activities
in a variety of contexts. This includes completing tasks whilst working as part of a team and taking
ownership when working on their own.

Apprenticeships are made up of a variety of components; we have listed below the mandatory
components that are required for this programme:
 National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)
 Principles of Knowledge
 Maths, English and ICT Skills at Level 1
 Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
 Knowledge of Employment Rights and Responsibilities


An Apprenticeship in Recruitment Resourcing Intermediate (Level 2) is an ideal programme that will

The Apprenticeship in Recruitment Resourcing Intermediate (Level 2) has mandatory and optional units.
To achieve the Apprenticeship you must achieve 9 mandatory units and several optional units to achieve a minimum of 28 credits.

 Researching candidates for recruitment purposes
 Using client relationship management systems for recruitment purposes
 Researching candidates through social media networking
 Contributing to the development of recruitment resourcing plan
 Identifying client recruitment requirements

 Building and maintaining relationships with candidates
 Develop working relationships with colleagues
 Manage diary systems
 Understanding the recruitment industry
 Understanding the use of research in the recruitment and selection process

 Manage personal performance and development
 Resolve customer service problems
 Understanding the building and maintaining of relationships with candidates
