This nationally recognised accredited course is designed to deliver the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to obtain blood samples from patients for further investigation and is aligned to the World Health Organisation for the training content of Phlebotomists.
Suitable for: Nurses, Pharmacists, Laboratory Staff, Paramedics, Health Care Assistants, Care Home Staff & Other Allied Health staff, and those interested in a career in phlebotomy (over 16 years of age).

Objectives
Please note: We provide a logbook so each delegate can go away after the course and gain full competency under clinical supervision (the recommended amount is 20 hours, but this is entirely up to the individual). Please note that each delegate is responsible for sourcing their own clinical setting for supervision and to be signed off as fully competent.
