This course is offered at Masters level and is delivered at our Glenside Campus.
Course content:
Theoretical and practical learning will center of the four elements of the A-EQUIP model:
The course will, upon successful completion, allow midwives to practice as professional midwifery advocates.
Delivery:
The course will be delivered over 12 weeks with 72 hours contact time spread over 10 days. It is recommended that 60 hours should be spent learning in practice supported by a Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA) mentor.
