Health Skills Training for HCAs Working in Care Homes - Bucks CANCELLED

Delivery Method: Face-to-face The aim of this course is to provide support workers in residential and dual-registered homes with an opportunity to increase their knowledge base in relation to overall health, to avoid deterioration and/or seek appropriate support from other services.
The day will cover the following topics:
- Nutrition and hydration
- Skin health and pressure damage prevention
- Catheter and bladder care
- Dementia
- A to E health assessment
This is being offered by the Clinical Practice Educator team within Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
