This COVID-19 immunisation update training course is an Annual Immunisation Update course specific to the COVID-19 vaccine. It includes our Annual Immunisation Update course developed in line with the ‘National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Practitioners‘ – PHE.

Who is it suitable for?
This COVID-19 immunisation update training training course is suitable for any experienced vaccinators who’s role will involve administering the COVID-19 vaccine. This could include immunisation nurses, practice nurses, pharmacists or any healthcare professional, or healthcare support worker administering vaccines.
What’s included?
First and foremost, this is this an interactive and engaging online course. Initially, it includes all of the modules recommended in the National Minimum Standards for Immunisation Training (PHE) document. Additionally, it includes COVID-19 vaccine specific lessons required for COVID-19 vaccine training.

- Reconstitution & drawing up
- Any changes to legislation relevant to vaccination

What’s not included?
Please note: This annual immunisation update course does not cover travel vaccines, seasonal influenza or any other UK schedule vaccinations Please purchase the relevant course packages or add-on courses if you would like these included.
This is not a Foundations of Immunisation Course for those new to immunising.
Basic Life support and Anaphylaxis are also available in separate courses.
