This 45/60 minute eLearning will enable the learner to:

• Know how to recognise and work with people who self-neglect
• Explore limits and responsibilities of intervention
• Understand the application of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 in relation to self-neglect
• Consider when adult safeguarding may be an appropriate response
• Consider when child safeguarding may be required
• Understand best practice and learn how to develop strategies to achieve this
• Learn how to best respond to cases
