Level 3 Certificate Understanding Mental Health
The mental health crisis is becoming increasingly prevalent in the UK, with 1 in 4 adults experiencing a mental health problem every year. The Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health is designed to provide a greater awareness of mental health issues and the importance of mental well-being.
Learners will build a knowledge base that can be used in a variety of occupational roles, gaining an understanding of the skills needed to work in mental health services, the importance of addressing mental health problems, and how legislation and publicity are changing attitudes towards those seeking treatment.

Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who wishes to further their understanding of Mental Health.
Requirements
From 1st April 2021, anyone aged 24+ who wants to achieve their first full level 3 qualification, which is equivalent to an advanced technical certificate or diploma, or 2 full A levels, will be able to sign up to a fully-funded course.
Career path
This course can lead to roles in Care or Education. It can also be useful for other professionals who want to better their understanding of Mental Health.
